Project Role:

Implement the configuration management plan as directed by the Configuration Lead. Assist in the design of software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements.

Summary:

As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for executing the configuration management plan, as directed by the Configuration Lead. You will assist in software configuration design and customization to align with application and business process requirements. Your typical workday involves working closely with the development and QA teams to ensure configuration integrity, participating in problem-solving discussions, and supporting improvements in software configuration workflows.

• Build foundational knowledge and contribute to team efforts
• Participate in team discussions for resolving problems
• Assist in designing configuration and customization plans
• Implement configuration management tasks under the direction of the Configuration Lead
• Ensure configuration processes are smoothly executed
• Help resolve configuration-related issues
• Contribute to improving configuration efficiency
• Provide suggestions for customization to meet specific business needs

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python (Programming Language)
• Strong understanding of software configuration management principles
• Familiarity with software customization techniques
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Requirements:

• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Basic understanding of software configuration and customization
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment
• Full-time education with a minimum of 15 years
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru

Additional Information:

• This role is based in Bengaluru
• A minimum of 0–2 years of experience is required in Python
• 15 years of full-time education is mandatory
